Introducing your tutor, Marilyn Mercer

Led by craftswoman extraordinaire and Rotary Past District 9685 Governor Marilyn Mercer, you will learn the basic techniques in preparing, braiding, lacing, joining and finishing a rug that is sure to become a family heirloom.

No previous experience is needed!

Please bring a pre-loved, woollen blanket of any size (sentimental from family or available at an Op shop for around $5), a large darning needle, about 30 long pins with coloured ends and scissors.

All other essentials provided.

As a special treat, Chef Brigit Marx will prepare homemade waffles for morning tea.
