Visiting Congolese scholar

HandUp Congo and the Rotary E-Club of Greater Sydney are busy facilitating the 3-month visit of Rev. Dr. Marthe Kondemo, who is researching women’s health and livelihood models in Australia thanks to the Royce and Jean Abbey scholarship fund https://www.royceabbey.com/.  

Marthe’s goal is to exchange ideas, and to see what projects may be replicable in the DRC. It’s not all work though – she’s frolicked with wallabies, ridden a camel, and swum in the surf!
