HandUp Congo is looking for talented volunteers who can work virtually (and occasionally face-to-face)! Should be well-organized, reliable and a self-starter. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

· Journalism skills – write newsletters, news releases, web copy, start a blog, write articles

· PR skills – create and implement fundraising events, raise awareness about Congo’s needs and HandUp Congo’s projects with variety of stakeholders, nurture relationships with supporters, maintain media database, explore speaking opportunities

· French skills - translate documents, conduct research

· Project management skills – organize meetings, monitor and evaluate current projects, maintain correspondence, assist with strategic planning, conduct research

· Administration skills – maintain database, distribute e-newsletters, assist with organizing reports and paperwork, track project deadlines and funds, conduct research, maintain photo library

· IT skills – maintain website, compile PowerPoint presentations, maintain database and collateral / correspondence archives, update fact sheets and other collateral

· Networking skills – HandUp Congo projects provide ample opportunity for developing your people and public presentation skills!
